  2. What are the monthly fees?
    Monthly fees vary by plan, ranging from $ 5.95 per month for the Personal plan to $ 49.95 for the Complete plan. Each plan has a variety of features. Check our Hosting Plans page for the details. Please note that the Personal plan must be paid in 6 month increments (minimum).

  3. Are there any hidden costs?
    Absolutely not. All fees are clearly spelled out on our Hosting Plans and Ordering pages. Do note that setup fees do apply depending on Hosting Plan.

  4. How am I billed?
    NetproHosting™ has multiple billing options: Monthly (except Personal plan), Semi-Annually, and Annually. Payment can be made by major credit card (American Express, Discover, Mastercard or Visa). When you order your account, you can choose "Automatic Recurring Billing" which will automatically charge your credit card at the appropriate interval. Or, you may choose "Manual Billing" in which case we will invoice you by e-mail and charge your account once we receive approval to do so from you. Note that accounts may be suspended if payment is delayed.

  5. How fast will my account be set up?
    We know you're anxious to get up and running! We strive to get new accounts established as quickly as possible, and most are set up in a matter of hours. However, orders placed off business hours EST may take a bit longer, but are generally set up within 24 hours. Please do realize that registering or transferring a domain does take time to propagate to all the servers around the globe. This generally occurs within 24-48 hours, but in some cases can be delayed by a week or more. Even with the potential delays, you will receive a temporary URL in your welcome e-mail to allow you to begin working on your website as soon as your account has been set up.

  6. I don't have a domain. Can I still use NetproHosting™?
    Our hosting plans are intended for hosting your own individual domain. Every website must have a domain in order to be displayed on the web. If you do not have a domain already, why not take advantage of the NetproHosting™ FREE domain registration and reserve your own Internet identity?

  7. I already have a domain. Can I still use NetproHosting™?
    Yes. You may choose to transfer your domain management to NetproHosting™, a FREE service, or continue with your existing registrar. NetproHosting™ will include the Nameserver changes you will need to make with your registrar in your welcome e-mail.

  8. Free domain registrations? What's the catch?
    There is no catch! We value our customers at NetproHosting™, and recognize the value of owning a unique domain name. Therefore, we offer 1 FREE domain registration for all accounts, and we'll keep paying the renewals as long as you host with us.

  9. What does UNMETERED data transfer mean? Is that the same as UNLIMITED?
    Unmetered data transfer (the amount of data you're allowed to transmit to viewers in a month) means that we do not set a limit on how much data you can transfer. We do monitor our servers and network to make sure that response times and performance are satisfactory. For unmetered plans, we won't cap your http web data transfer. This is not the same as what many hosting companies claim to offer as "unlimited". Offering "unlimited" data transfer is a marketing ploy...It is physically impossible to have no limits. We recommend you shy away from companies offering "unlimited" data transfer or hard drive space...There is no such thing. Our servers are connected to the network with 100 Mbps (mega bits per second) connections, so the limiting factors on throughput performance are this 100 Mbps connection, network congestion and general backbone performance.

    One important distinction here is that this policy applies only to http web traffic (displaying web pages, graphics, etc.). Our unmetered hosting plans are not intended for download sites or download mirrors. If you have files that you're offering for download for a fee and those files are larger than 100kb in size, we can arrange a bandwidth restriction policy for your site on a case-by-case basis.

    Most customers of ours will require less than 200 MB of data transfer allowance per month. For this reason, and to be completely open on this hot issue, we do set up limits to give everyone a fair shake at server bandwidth. Those limits are:

    Personal: 10GB
    Advanced: 20GB
    Business: 30GB
    Complete: 50GB

    If we discover that the very unlikely event occurs that you use up this amount in a single month, we will adjust quotas on a case-by-case basis...At no additional fee. This is why we are completely comfortable stating "unmetered" data transfer.

  10. How does the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee work? Are there any exceptions?
    Simple. If for any reason within the first 30 days after we send your welcome e-mail you decide not to stay with NetproHosting™, you may send us an e-mail at cancel@netprohosting.com and we will refund all fees you have paid, 100%, including setup fees. We are very confident you will be delighted with our service, and do not often need to utilize this guarantee.

  11. How many domains can I host?
    Our hosting plans are designed for 1 main domain account. That said, our plans do offer a feature called "Add On Domains" which allow you to host more than one domain in a hosting account space. Please note that our free domain registration applies to one main account. Subsequent add on domain registrations are not included.

  12. What if I want to cancel my account?
    We would hate to see you go, but you may cancel at any time by sending e-mail to cancel@netprohosting.com. Billing will stop as of the end of the current billing cycle. For your protection, we will reply to your e-mail in order to verify your identity prior to canceling your account. Further, we will "suspend" the account for 30 days in case you decide to return or in case you did not intend to cancel your account.

  13. If I cancel my account and have pre-paid, will I get a refund?
    If you cancel during the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee period, 100% of the fees paid will be refunded. If it is beyond the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee period, we can not offer a refund. At any time, you may contact billing@netprohosting.com for information regarding when your paid term expires.

  14. Can I host adult content?
    While we respect the rights of people to view adult content, NetproHosting™ does not allow adult, illegal or offensive materials. Accounts will be suspended and or terminated without refund should this policy be violated.

  15. Can I store and swap MP3 files or software?
    We are big fans of technology and firmly believe that digital music is the way of the future. That said, NetproHosting™ does not allow storage or swapping of materials for which you do not own the copyright. This includes but is not limited to MP3 music or digital video produced and protected by the original artists' copyright and any intellectual property for which another party holds the copyright. If you produce your own original music or software and wish to share it on your website, by all means you may do so up to your hosting plan disk space quota. If this media is offered on a "for sale" basis, file size limitations apply (100kb).

  16. What if I want to upgrade to a different plan?
    You may upgrade at any time should your needs change. Upgrades will be reflected at the next billing cycle if paying monthly, or an adjusted charge will be applied for the remainder of a pre-paid plan. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be given should you downgrade your account, but you may do so effective at the beginning of the next billing cycle.

  17. What if the domain I want isn't available?
    This is certainly a possibility. Either someone may already have registered the domain you want, or someone may "beat you to it" and register it before your account is set up. This is an unfortunate reality given the extreme popularity of individual web sites and domains. There are a few options, however, including choosing a different domain name or taking advantage of alternative domain extensions such as .net, .org or .us. Additional domain extensions are available for an annual $25 fee including .biz, .info, or .ws (website).

  18. I'm ready to sign up. How do I get started?
    Great! Just go to our Ordering page, complete your account information, select the plan you would like, and submit the form for processing. You will be taken to our secure server at 2Checkout.com where your order will be processed. Once that is complete, you will be returned our site. That's it - you should be set up within 24 hours of submitting your Account Information and will receive your welcome e-mail!
